Parking for Sunday evening worship:

We recommend Metro, since the church is just one block from Gallery Place/Chinatown stop (red/yellow/green lines), and a major bus stop (Circulator red line; Metrobus 70, 71).

The closest parking lot is one block north west of Calvary Baptist Church at 9th and H St. with the entrance on 9th (a one way street; south). Pick up a parking voucher from the Info Table to get a reduced rate of $3 for parking in that lot.

Public metered Handicapped parking spots are available to the on the north side of H Street, right by the church building.

Note: There is special parking reserved for families with small children attached to the Church building on 8th Street. Cost is $20 a month. To reserve a spot, register online by going to the church calendar, and clicking “Open Registrations", then click on the parking for the available month.
Email Mel with questions, or for more information on parent parking.

Parking at the Church Office:

We recommend Metro, since the office is across the street from Archives/Navy Memorial stop (yellow/green), and a major bus stop (Circulator red line; Metrobus 70, 71).

Parking during business hours in this area can be difficult. Plan to arrive up to 20 min early if you intend to park on the street: all meters take quarters, and cost $2 for 2 hrs. Most meters require payment until 8:30pm.
There is also a public parking garage just north of the office, on D St between 5th and 6th.
