The basement suite is located on the lower level of a Victorian row house in Shaw. The bedroom comes furnished with a double bed, dresser, chair, built in bookcase and towels/linens. Located downstairs is also a living room with a pull-out queen sleep sofa for guests, a full bathroom, kitchen and dining area. However, the intent is that the resident would be a part of the household and free to use the kitchen, living/dining room and patio upstairs. The downstairs living room space would also be shared, providing an extra living room/den for the house, thus giving more space for everyone.

The house is located around the corner from Ambar and Dascha beer garden in Shaw and .7 miles from Grace DC Downtown! Currently, there are three other women in their mid-twenties living upstairs and excited about having a fourth housemate with a desire to share life and live in community in the way they all find works best.
