My name is Doris, and I’m a PhD student at Johns Hopkins moving to the DC area to begin my research. I’m currently looking for a room with its own bath in a house or any shared living arrangement with a move-in date in late August or by September 1st. My budget is ~$1,000-$1,300 per month preferably with utilities included.

I’m hoping to find a place with an easy commute to Sibley Memorial Hospital (5255 Loughboro Rd NW, Washington, DC 20016). I’m particularly interested in Friendship Heights, Silver Spring, Tenleytown, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, American University Park, Glover Park, Cathedral Heights, Van Ness, North Cleveland Park, or other nearby neighborhoods with convenient access to the hospital.

I’m a great listener and genuinely enjoy being supportive and considerate of others. I take pride in keeping shared spaces clean and organized, and I’m respectful of different schedules and routines. I’m usually at work most of the time, but I’m always available for roommate meetings, house responsibilities, or anything that needs my attention. I value open communication, mutual respect, and kindness, and I believe these qualities help create a calm, comfortable living environment where everyone feels at home.
