We are looking for a Christian woman to join us as our 3rd roommate in an adorable Eckington home! The house was redone in 2019 and includes a front porch, large remodeled kitchen, back patio, lots of windows, washer & dryer, solar panels, front & back gardens, a guest room, finished basement, and historic charm. The open bedroom is in the basement and includes its own bathroom and den area. There is a separate back entrance to the basement, but it is also connected to the rest of the house upstairs. We live on a quiet but very social street with friendly neighbors and lots of street parking available. The house, apart from the bedroom, is (mostly) furnished. We are a close walk to Althetha Tanner Park, the Bouldering Project climbing gym, Trader Joes, Union Market, the NOMA red line stop, and a fantastic DC public pool. The exact move-in date is flexible (anytime late June on), but we are looking for someone who can commit to a 12-month lease beginning July 1, 2026. We have a fantastic and highly responsive property management company, and a great relationship with the owner. Rent is $1,400 a month + utilities.

We are looking for a roommate, ideally in her mid-to-late 20s or older, who is open to seeing the house as a place of hospitality and hosting – while also honoring home as a place of rest and renewal. We are in our mid-to-late 20s, work in the non-profit space in DC, and both attend a local Anglican church. We both have a heart for those on the margins and for welcoming people into a place of rest and joy.
