Hi! I'm Kelsey, and I'm a Baltimore native about to be DC dweller! I'm a writer in my mid-twenties and recently accepted a job at International Justice Mission. I'm looking for temporary housing during the weekdays to avoid a long commute and learn more about the area until my Baltimore lease is up. I'm a very respectful house guest and you honestly might not even notice I'm there! I'm typically asleep by 10 p.m. and up at 5 a.m. to run with an organization called Back on My Feet. I can pay around $550 per month for your hospitality Sound like an ideal situation? Read on!
A Little About Me:
I'm passionate about storytelling and am very excited to use this passion to tell stories of rescue and restoration for a faith-based organization that fights global modern-day slavery. Previously in Baltimore, I worked as a freelance writer and photographer for other humanitarian organizations, local publications, and restaurants (so much good food!).
My interests outside of work include exploring cities by food and running, volunteering with Back on My Feet, enjoying the outdoors, traveling, cooking, reading, and movies. I currently volunteer with Back on My Feet Baltimore and have every intention of joining a Back on My Feet DC team once I move! I'm also very excited about all of the walkable museums and restaurants I can venture to.
Sound like I might be a good fit? Let's talk!
