I am looking for a new roommate to join me in my 2 bed 1 bathroom historic row house in Capitol Hill. I have lived here for 4 years now and love it . Rent is $1,400 and utilities + wifi are around $60 a month. Lease would start Nov 1 but I’m flexible for the right fit!

About the house; It’s very spacious—there’s even a dining room!—and close to Lincoln Park. It’s a 10 minute walk to the Potomac Ave metro, fifteen minute walk to Eastern Market and immediately off the C51 bus route. There is plenty of street parking directly in front of the house if you do have a car.

Your bedroom would be unfurnished, is larger of the two and has a closet. There’s one bathroom that you and I would share.
There’s a full sized attic that’s great for storage, a covered balcony, and a beautiful front yard with lots of plants. The kitchen is well-equipped and though the appliances are on the older side, they work perfectly. There’s a washer and dryer in the basement that is shared with the landlord who lives downstairs. (She is the best!)

I’m 30, and I work (mostly) in person at a hotel. I love to host friends, travel, and spend time exploring D.C. I have a 8 year old cat who is very sweet, but doesn’t vibe with other animals so no pets please. Ideally looking for someone in their mid to late 20s /early 30s.
