The room you would fill is on the first floor of the house. You would have your own half bathroom. The bedroom is very spacious, has hardwood floors, and gets plenty of natural light. This is a great location and arrangement for a Capitol Hill staffer or Georgetown Law student. There is a D24 bus stop one block away and C53/C51 bus stops four blocks away. The nearest metro station is the Eastern Market metro station, which is approx. a 15-minute walk from the house.

The lease is for eleven months, through June 2027, with the option to renew. Rent is $865 per month with a $865 one-time security deposit required for move-in. Most utilities (electric, gas, internet, and curbside compost) are paid by tenants and average $150 per month per person. Water is paid by landlord and added to rent each month (average $30-$40 per person). Tenants also split the cost of a biweekly cleaning service for communal spaces ($60 per month per person). No pets allowed.

The house includes a shared living room and large kitchen, laundry, and a beautiful backyard space. The other tenants are three women in their mid-twenties who enjoy living together but largely do their own thing. We are seeking a fourth clean, quiet, and considerate roommate.
