We’re excited to continue our tradition of the Grace Downtown Fall Retreat on November 6-8, 2026 at Capon Springs and Farms in High View, WV.
Three days of food, relaxation, games, food, making new friends, encouraging teaching and more food, the Fall Retreat is one of the best ways to forge deeper friendships at Grace Downtown. Whether you’re brand new to the Grace Downtown family or you’ve been a member since the beginning, we hope you’ll join us! This year, Grace Downtown will have exclusive use of Capon Springs.

Note: All Fall Retreat attenders and Capon Springs visitors must register here in advance in order to join for any and all portions of the retreat.

Scholarships
The Fall Retreat is an important and much-loved part of Grace Downtown’s family life, so we’d like as many people as possible to be able to attend.
If paying the full registration fee presents a significant financial challenge for you, we ask you to consider contributing at least 50% per attendee. To do so, in the payment section below, you may use the Discount Code: HALF
If additional financial support is needed beyond 50% in the payment section below, you may use the Discount Code: FOLLOWUP. You won’t be required to pay at this time, and a staff member will reach out to you. Register here.

Directions to Retreat (GPS works too!)
Capon Springs & Farms
3818 Capon Springs Rd, High View, WV 26808
Recommended route (slightly longer, but avoids unpaved roads): To get to Capon Springs by car, follow I-66 until it ends at I-81. Take I-81 South to the 2nd Strasburg exit, #296. Turn right on Rt. 55 West and follow 19 miles toward to Wardensville. Turn right on Rt. 259 North and continue for 6 miles to Capon Lake. Turn right on Rt. 16, Capon Springs Rd, crossing bridge, and continue for 4 miles to Capon Springs. (Adds approximately 15 minutes to trip.)
Alternate route (shorter, but includes a winding, unpaved road): To get to Capon Springs by car, follow I-66 until it ends at I-81. Take I-81 South to the 2nd Strasburg exit, #296. Turn right on Rt. 55 West and follow 12 miles to road on right marked Capon Springs Grade (Rt. 609). (Rt. 609 is exactly 2 miles after crossing bridge at Duck Run.) Follow this dirt road for 3½ miles to Capon Springs. Allow approximately 2 hrs. Driver’s note: Capon Springs Grade (Rt. 609) begins in VA. If you cross the WV state line while still on Rt. 55, you have gone too far.
