We are pleased to announce that the GraceDC Network — consisting of Grace Downtown, Grace Mosaic, and Grace Meridian Hill — has launched a new Institute for Cross-Cultural Mission (ICCM).
ICCM is a church-based research and training entity dedicated to the equipping of current and future Christian leaders for cross-cultural ministry.
On January 1, 2018 Rev. Dr. Irwyn Ince joined the Grace DC Network to lead the newly formed Institute. As Pastor of Cross-Cultural Mission and Director of the Institute, Irwyn Ince will provide the Institute with vision and operational leadership. In collaboration with Grace DC’s team of pastors, he will also serve as the Institute’s lead teacher, equipper, and mentor.
We have witnessed an ever-growing desire among ministry leaders, churches, and Christian organizations for practical training on how to lead their congregations toward an intentionally multi-racial and multi-ethnic future. In our vision, Christian leaders, formed for cross-cultural mission, are reliable guides with pastoral wisdom and theological depth.
ICCM is seeking to assist current and future church leaders, churches, and denominations who have embraced a biblical vision for diversity by identifying the ways in which leaders shepherd people toward healthy cross-cultural living and ministry. This will include discipleship through teaching, training, and mentoring, and researching matters pertaining to justice and reconciliation ministries.
We are excited to work together to make ICCM a center of formational gravity in developing high-impact Christian leaders for cross-cultural mission. We need and desire your prayerful and financial support. Would you consider coming alongside us as we begin this good and necessary work?
