God promises to send his Servant as a comfort to his people in the midst of uncertain circumstances. For those who consider themselves God’s people we are to seek after God alone for comfort, even when we tend to pursue comfort from power, control, success, achievement, reputation or acceptance. God offers comfort through the person and work of the Servant who brings justice through relationship, offering freedom and making all things new.
