Sin makes things old. Sin also has the effect of producing toil–struggle, and monotony. Monday morning has come to represent this feeling. What happens when Monday morning diffuses into the rest of our lives? In the midst of this Jesus cries: Behold, I make all things new. And, Paul can hardly contain himself as he contemplates Jesus resurrection. Herein, lies our hope for newness.
