When someone you know falls morally, how do you assure yourself it won’t happen to you? “I’m smarter than that…I don’t do ‘that’ sort of thing…I come from a strong Christian heritage…I have good theology…I’m a leader”? None of these can really help us in the face of temptation—Paul points this out to the Corinthians. However, in this passage we are given real help in temptation in the form a “Beware” and “Be Assured”.
