Whenever Jesus healed someone’s body, He also sought to address their soul. Peter does the same in Acts 3: he heals a man and then preaches “repent and believe”! For God to give us everything on our wish list, yet not call us to do this would be to ignore our souls; as He does, we find He gives us far beyond our list. The greatest hope for our souls lies in understanding repentance and faith.
