Life has a way of drowning out the voice of God that he speaks through his word. What are the falsehoods before you today that need to be replaced by the grace and truth of Christ?

How will you allow people in your life—those sources of strength and love--to be involved in such a way that leads your heart to God?

For, as consulting our self-interest is the pestilence that most effectively leads to our destruction, so the sole haven of salvation is to be wise in nothing and to will nothing through ourselves but to follow the leading of the Lord alone. –John Calvin

One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard: that you, O God, are strong, and that you, O Lord, are loving. Surely you will reward each person according to what he has done. –Psalm 62:11-12

The Christian does have the adequate universal he needs in order to be able to discuss the meaning of love. Among the things we know about the Trinity is that the Trinity was before the creation of everything else and that love existed between the persons of the Trinity before the foundation of the world. This being so, the existence of love as we know it in our makeup does not have an origin in chance, but from that which has always been. –Francis A Schaeffer
