Location - McLean, VA (Less than 15 minutes from the Mosaic district and about 10 minutes from Tysons Corner)

Price of room - $825 per month plus utilities, and an initial deposit of approximately $740

The lease runs May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025, so the room is available now. The price will be prorated according to when the tenant moves in (e.g. if someone moves in on May 20, we will subtract 2/3 of May's price from her rental payment for this month).

There is a shared kitchen, dining room, living room, and laundry room, and a nice back porch.

The bedroom is on the first floor (at the end of the hallway) and has its own bathroom, as well as a large closet. There are currently 3 other housemates (including me). But we may potentially be subletting one of the downstairs rooms this summer as well (for a total of 5 tenants).

A little about us: I am a Catholic school teacher in my mid 20s, and the other two women are middle-aged. One is Methodist, and the other is Anglican. We are all respectful of one another, keep the house pretty quiet, divide up the chores and responsibilities, and have a strict policy of no male guests in the evenings or overnight. There is also a credit check in the application process.

Our driveway is large enough for all our cars, so parking is free! The house is walking distance to Giant Food, CVS, Cava, a UPS access point, and several other stores and restaurants. There are lots of nice parks in the area too. Please email me if you are interested in learning more or touring!

Thank you so much and may God bless you!

With approximately 330 students enrolled, Dominion is a classical Christian school in Northern Virginia (with campuses in northern Herndon and Oakton). Beginning Fall 2024, we are seeking candidates for positions teaching part- or full-time art, Grades K-6; part- or full-time K-12 choral music, and middle/upper school science.

Well-qualified candidates will hold at least a four-year degree, be intellectually curious and passionate about children, and have great instincts and a love for teaching. Because Dominion has a faith-based mission and its employees are in a role of ministry, not just teaching, the school also requires candidates to agree without reservation with the school’s statement of faith and be a member in regular attendance at a Christian church.

To be considered for a teaching position, please submit a resume and cover letter (including a brief statement of faith) to hiring@dominionschool.com.

Front_of_House_1.jpeg

Hello! We are a group house of four (4) females living in a beautiful, traditional DC row home situated in the cozy neighborhood of Petworth (NW, DC) looking for another fabulous female to join us for a year lease beginning July 1, 2024!

Here are the detz:

THE HOUSE:

This is a 5 bed, 2.5 bath beautiful row house property with gorgeous wood floors, antique features, and a spacious, modern kitchen. The home has plenty of relaxing outdoor space with both front and back porches and two gardens—great outdoor space for grilling and entertaining! The house is equipped with A/C, in-unit laundry, and a high-speed google nest wifi system (perfect for working at home!). There is plenty of indoor storage and secure outdoor storage for bikes. The common spaces of the house are fully furnished, including a completely stocked kitchen (although additional pieces are welcome!).

THE ROOM FOR RENT:

The room for rent is a spacious half of the Master bedroom located on the 2nd floor of the house. We affectionately refer to this room as "Master Bedroom B." Before you're like, "uhh, what does that mean?", I will attempt to explain:) The Master bedroom in our house is made up of TWO full-size rooms, Master bedrooms: Bedroom A and Master bedroom B, which are connected yet separated by an actual, proper full-size door. Thus, while each room is its own full-size, PRIVATE room, the tenant for bedroom B must walk through the bedroom occupied by tenant A to access the room. To accommodate this arrangement, this room is priced VERY affordable for its size! The current tenant of bedroom A is a fabulous lady in her 20's working in the non-profit sector. Prospective tenants for Master Bedroom B will interview with tenant A to ensure it is a good fit.

ADDITIONAL INFO:

Monthly Rent Price: $675

Bedroom Size: 9 x 16

Plenty of natural light w/ 2 windows!

Faces the back of the house

Carpeted

Shares full bathroom on the 2nd floor

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

The home is nestled in the lovely Petworth community, NW DC. The Petworth neighborhood is friendly and quiet, hosting a mix of young families as well as group houses like what this one will be! The home is located within a 5-minute walk to two beautiful DC parks—Sherman Circle and Grant Circle, NW. It is located within walking distance to 2 grocery stores (Safeway and Yes! Organic), the Petworth library and swimming pool, as well as super close to Upshur Street which has fantastic restaurants (Timber Pizza, Cinder BBQ, Taqueria Del Barrio) and other fun shops (Willow, Loyalty Books). Petworth is known as an upcoming "hip" DC neighborhood with several festivals and events throughout the year such as the Petworth Porch Fest (DC's largest music festival!).

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION:

There is an off-street parking space in the alleyway behind the house which we have tended to use interchangeably as needed. For all others, there is plenty of free street parking (it is rare to not find a spot right in front of the house!), and our street itself is not zoned. There is easy access to the 62, 63, 70, and 79 bus lines (less than 2-minute walk) as well as the Georgia Ave / Petworth metro station (Green / Yellow lines) which is about a 12-minute walk.

THE HOUSE VIBE:

The four of us are chill, low-key, no-drama ladies spanning the age ranges of early 20's to early 40's. Our group house has historically kept a culture of independence as well as anecdotal community. While each lady has had a busy life consisting of navigating her own schedule, food, lifestyle, etc., we do enjoy organic "how you doin''?" chats after work, an occasional movie night, and catching up on life while happening to cook at the same time in the kitchen. We want everyone to feel equally comfortable and welcome in their own home. While guests are certainly welcome, we ask that housemates respect the privacy of other housemates in doing so (I'm happy to chat further about how this works for us!). We prioritize cleanliness (especially dishes:)), kindness, and consideration and equally pitch in to make sure household duties are managed and that the home feels like "home" for everyone.

ADDITIONAL DETZ:

·      Utilities are between $100-$130 per tenant per month. We split all bills evenly and share certain daily supplies (i.e., toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc.).

·      We utilize a monthly cleaning service which does the WHOLE house (including bedrooms upon request) for $25 a month per person.

·      A security deposit of $675 (one month's rent) will be required, to be returned at the end of the lease as long as no damages have accrued.

·      The lease will begin July 1st, 2024. This will be for one year (ending June 30, 2025).

That’s it! I am excited to meet you! If interested to live in this incredible home, please do not hesitate to contact me at: club4704eighthst@gmail.com and 1) provide brief details about yourself as well as 2) what you are looking for in a housing situation! It would be great to learn more about you and what you’re looking for in a home / housemates! I am happy to share additional pictures and videos of the house upon request.

Talk with you soon!

Bonnie

CF in her 60s is seeking a short term furnished rental in Arlington County VA from May - Aug 2024. The dates are flexible. However, it important to remain in Arlington County will be reliant on public transportation. Since, safety is important - not seeking shared space so  a studio, efficiency, condo, 1 bed room apartment would be preferred.

EFCDE4AA-94A6-4CF9-8649-A310B29A4EAB.JPG

Hi there! I'll be starting a new job in the area and would love to find a great CF housemate. Moving in near the end of June or beginning of July would be ideal, but I can work with your schedule, if you need housing sooner.

Housing that I am looking for:

2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment or townhouse, one year lease, in Alexandria, Arlington, or Fairfax, willing to rent as high as $2,600 (so $1,300 per person + ultitlies, fees, etc. - prefer lower if possible), gated community, safe/quiet neighborhood, clean and maintained property, controlled access, and in unit laundry.

Roommate that I am looking for:

I'm a CF in my late 20s who will be working about 50 hours or more a week. I value personal space, cleanliness, and just always trying to remember to think of others (especially when living in community) and I do not own any pets. I plan to be fairly active (work, church, friends, gym, dance, etc.), so it's important to me to have home as an oasis and a place to decompress. With that being said, I would be thrilled to find someone who values the same things! I would prefer a housemate who is also in their mid to late 20s or early 30s, doesn't own any pets, loves Jesus, and is respectful of each other's space including cleanliness, noise, and overnight guests. I would not be comfortable with any male overnight guests that aren't relatives, and I think it's courteous to send a text in advance if we ever have any guests over. I've lived with others most of my life and served as missionary in Ukraine for 3 years, so I'm well acquainted with living with others and being mindful.

If you're interested and think we'd be a good fit, please reach out! I'd love to learn more about you!

*photos are from different apartments that I have been looking at and saved on Zillow and a photo of me*

IMG_3027_Original.jpeg

I'm a 22 year old, who's been working in the area for a year, and I'd love to move to Arlington. I'm chatty, easy to get along with, and do a fabulous job of picking up after my cats and myself. I'm into fitness, reading, and gabbing over a cup of coffee.

Central A/C & Heat.

Located next to river trail, ideal for walking, running, and biking enthusiasts. Capital Bike Share stations within two blocks.

Ten minutes from CHBC unless you drive slower than me.

Most importantly, two minute walk to the gym.

Hi!

My current roommate is getting married so I'm looking for a new roommate to take over the private bedroom and bathroom. The rent is $1025 + utilities (approx. $100), and includes an in-unit washer/dryer and a storage unit. The apartment is within walking distance to the metro and the bus line, as well as a short 5-minute drive to the Tyson' s Corner Mall and Galleria, I-495, Route 7, Trader Joe's, and Safeway. My roommate and I are looking for a third roommate to fill the den bedroom in our three bedroom apartment in Senate Square Apartments on H Street NE. Our current roommate is moving out at the end of May, so the room will be availabe starting in June. The room does not have windows, but has it's own closet and can fit a queen sized bed, dresser, desk, and side table. Happy to follow-up with additional photos! Our building has lots of amenities such as two large rooftops with a pool and grills, a gym, 24/7 concierge, package room, and a theater room. Our building is located directly next to a Giant, and is walking distance from Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. We're also a short walk from the Union Station metro (red line) and the U.S. Capitol.

About us: I am in my late 20s and work as a policy advisor on the Hill. When I'm not working, I attend Redemption Hill Church, socialize with friends, and take workout classes. My roommate is in her early 20s, works at a think tank, and attends King's Church. We're both kind, outgoing, and courteous. We keep a clean apartment and are looking for a roommate who will do the same smile If you're interested, please email me with info about yourself, timeline, etc.

I will be getting my Master’s in National Security & Intelligence at the Bush School DC, and I also have a job lined up! I love spending time with my friends, watching basketball and football games, going to Church, and painting oil paint landscapes!

I am looking for a roommate to get a 2b/2b apartment at The Hale apartments in NoMA. Hello,

We are looking for one professional to share a large 4 Bedroom, 3.5 Bathroom End Unit Townhome in a great location in Vienna. The home is within walking distance to Dunn Loring Metro and the Mosaic District (or a 2 minute drive to either), minutes to Tysons Corner, and offers easy access to 66, 495, and all major highways. It's also a quick drive to Arlington, Reston, Fairfax and more.

The house features a variety of upgrades including hardwood floors throughout, stainless steel appliances, updated bathrooms, and probably the largest townhouse patio in the Northern Virginia area. It was recently redone and is great for entertaining. The house also has tons of storage space and is furnished with the exception of the available bedroom.

The room available is approximately 12"x10", has lots of natural light and shares a bathroom with one male professional. Rent is $895 per month plus utilities (which tend to run about $100 per month).

There is assigned parking and street parking with plenty of parking for residents and visitors.

A little about the roommates: three clean, responsible and considerate male professionals in their mid/late 20s looking for a similarly situated professional that is fairly relaxed, easy to get along with, and takes care of the place. Everyone has busy lives, but makes time to hang out every now and again. They enjoy having fun but do not bring the party home.

I am looking for someone to assume the lease starting as early as May 1 or by June 1 (for a roommate moving out). The lease ends August 31st and we prefer someone who intends to renew for the year period thereafter. One month's security deposit is required. Sorry, no smoking or pets.

Please let me know if you are interested. Additional pictures available here: https://post.craigslist.org/manage/7736739251

Thanks!

Hi there! We are 3 young professional women living in a 3b/2b historic brownstone on Logan Circle. We love our home and have a very easy-going house vibe. One of our dear roommates is finishing her Fellowship and moving away from DC in May, so we are now on the hunt for a new roommate! The room that is opening up is very spacious (the size of a studio) and has its own private bathroom. The room is fully furnished and our roommate is looking to sell everything for a fair price which is a great option. Rent is $1710 and utilities are roughly $70-80ish each per month (internet, power, house cleaner). We all get along very well but still have our own separate lives. We are in our late 20s/early 30s. If you will please send us a note and tell us a little about yourself, we would love to meet you! Sorry no pets. The room will be available June 1st, but we have flexibility to move in sooner or later if needed. Talk soon!

This is a great spot for professionals and we've also had a medley of grad school students, missionaries, and professionals in their 20s and 30s.

  • Please reach out for more info and to set up either an in-person or virtual tour.
  • We'll have 1 or 2 bedrooms available for August 1 and another on September 1.
  • This is always an individual lease, you're never responsible for anyone else's bills.

Thank you for considering!

Hello! Are you looking for a place to stay for a summer internship? I'm looking for a female to sublet my room in a 2 bedroom apartment on the lower floor of a family home in Takoma Park, MD. The rent is $850/month inc utilities, available for June and July (may be able to flex a tiny bit into May or August if needed). House is in a lovely, shady neighborhood and a 14 minute walk from the red line Takoma metro stop- a shuttle will be running from this stop to the next one in the month of June while maintenance is done. Free street parking.

You would have your own furnished bedroom and closet and share 1.5 bathrooms, an updated kitchen, and a library with a young Christian woman, Olivia. The downstairs apartment is only separated from the rest of the house by the staircase, and the Furth family lives up there with four cute kids- super friendly and good at respecting space/boundaries. Some noise, kids awake by 7am, but they quiet down by 8pm and the house is often empty and quiet at different points in the day. I've loved having the house community with some group dinners and game nights.

Let me know if you're interested!

Hi, I am searching for a female roommate to live in the master bedroom (with walk-in closet) of a 2 bed, 1 bath apartment, located in Herndon, VA. First floor apartment, washer and dryer in-unit. Looking for an approximate move-in May 3 or later. Lease is until October 1, 2024 with option to renew if interested. Room is unfurnished. No smoking, vaping, or recreational drug use.

Rent is $924/month, utilities will vary but approx. $80-100/month (Internet, electric, water)

About me: I am a practicing Christian, single woman in mid-20s who values cleanliness and quiet time. My work is hybrid, so sometimes I work from home, sometimes in the office.

See the apartment complex here: https://www.stuartwoodsapts.com/. 15 minutes from Divine Mercy University and Dulles Airport; 7 minutes from Herndon Metro Station on the Silver Line; bus stop a short walk from apartment.

Apartment complex will require background and credit check for $50, along with a $300 administrative fee to add you to the lease.

IMG_2454.jpg

The condo is located in the Merrifield area, right across from the Mosaic District! Overall, I find it to be a very convenient, central location that has easy access to most places in the DMV. In addition to that, it is a 5-10 minute walking distance from the Mosaic district, Target, Aldi, Lidl, Hmart, CVS, amongst others shops. It is also a 5-minute drive to Dunn Loring Metro Station, 5-minute drive to the Inova Fairfax campus, in close proximity to multiple bus stops, and has easy access to 495 and 66.

As part of the complex amenities, there is also access to the pool and a 24-hour fitness room. I find this to be an amazing option for those who want to be active and close to various activities and central locations, while being removed just enough to enjoy some private space and quiet as well.

A bit about myself--I am a relatively gregarious female in my late 20s, currently a full-time software engineer and a part-time seminary student who attends and serves at a local church. I also run a local dance crew, so I am plenty busy and often out of the house, but I love to fellowship any chance that I get! I hope to create a harmonious, Christ-honoring environment where we can encourage one another and our respective communities.

If you have any questions, or any of this sounds appealing to you, feel free to email me at alinayu129@gmail.com. Thanks!

Looking for two people to take over mine and my roomate’s lease for the summer! This unit is available from May 4th to September 4th— perfect for summer interns working Downtown, on Capitol Hill, or anywhere else in the DMV area.

Rent is around $3,460 split between two roomates! Our 2-bed, 2-bath house is perfect for hosting friends and in the heart of Navy Yard (3 blocks from Nats stadium, 2 blocks from Navy Yard Metro, 2 Blocks from the Bull Pen, 12 minute walk to House Office Buildings) The place is absolutely incredibly spacious and has been an amazing place for us. No maintenance problems, all ammenities work amazingly, and the front desk concierge is insanely helpful with packages and such.

Ammenities in this building are more than accommodating and you have everything you need right within the complex. both gym and pool are located on the roof, and you also have access to the East buildings ammenities as well (gym in the lobby, pool on the roof, DRYY pickup/dropoff lockers for dry cleaning, spacious gathering areas, etc.) Utilities usually range between $100-$150/ month, split that between the two roomates. Washer and dryer and inside unit, and work perfectly.

Hey yinz! We are all Christian guys, ages 22-31, and enjoy various activities (including, but not limited to) running, cooking, having friends over, playing music, and reading. We seek to live with guys who are actively growing in their Christian faith. Our current lineup of guys collectively attends The District Church, Fourth Presbyterian Church , and Grace DC – Downtown. Regretfully, two of our guys are leaving to attend law school, and we’d love for two new guys to join our house and grow in faith together.

About the house: Dubbed "Shepherd Ranch," our house sits on a corner lot in a quiet part of South Petworth. While very residential, the house is only a 7-minute walk to the Georgia Ave Metro stop (green line), a 5-minute walk to the grocery store, and a 2-minute walk to a Bikeshare station. A small neighborhood market sits across the street as well. Parking is immaculate, with unrestricted zones on both sides of the house, offering plenty of spots. The house has a HUGE yard (seriously, it is massive), and it has served us well as a large gathering spot for friends when the weather is nice. Inside, the house has a solid kitchen with granite countertops, a huge TV area, and a half-wraparound patio outside, all of which we use frequently. There are a ton of windows providing abundant light. Utilities peak around $100 pp/per month, split evenly.

About the 2 rooms: The room on the ground floor features a large window for morning light and a deep closet. You would share an upstairs bathroom. The upstairs room is very private, spacious, and ideal for someone working from home. It also shares a bathroom. Each room rents for less than $1,000/month!

About you: The five of us live pretty “on-the-go” lifestyles and are heavily involved with our various circles and communities. Nevertheless, we try to be intentional about getting a house dinner or some other roommate activity on the calendar every few weeks. We hope to have our two new roommates be guys who share this interest. If this sounds appealing, please reach out so we can chat more!

Feel free to text me at 814-205-7209 or send an email to jonathandmcgee@outlook.com. Happy house hunting!

I am seeking a female to share a 2 bdrm, 1.5 bathroom apt in Crystal City from mid-May through July. The apt is over 1,000 square feet, and the room is about 13X9. The location is a 5 min walk to both Crystal City and Pentagon City metro stations, next to several grocery stores, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, trails, and gyms. The apartment receives abundant light and has a large balcony. The building management is very responsive to maintenance requests and issues. Rent is $1,275 plus utilities. The room is currently furnished with a bed, desk, and tall bookshelves.

Other amenities include a dishwasher, w/d in the unit, a small gym, rooftop with lounge chairs and grill, and a common room upstairs. Please email me if you would like to see more photos, meet, or talk via video call. The building's website, The Paramount in Arlington, has more generic photos as well.

Thanks!

Hello There!

Me and my 2 roommates are seeking to sublease a large furnished bedroom with private bathroom to a 4th female in need of flexible living arrangements. The space would be ideal for a student who has an internship or a person in need of at least to end of June.

The space would be great for someone seeking to live in community with others. We are sister-friends who live in the beautiful Historic Anacostia and attend the same church.

A few amenities:

Large furnished bedroom and private bathroom (furnishing for both rooms will be different than in pics but room will have queen size bed)

Sublease that offers flexibility to someone seeking short term housing
Ring Proof and access to communication with community
washer and dryer with laundry storage area
furnished kitchen (we have everything you need to make a salad and roast a chicken!)
great pantry space as well as plenty of cabinet space for your mugs or special items
guest bathroom for you and your guests
beautiful large back yard and front porch
street parking and gated back entry
crawl space for plenty of extra storage
Historic Anacostia Listserv if you would like to join

This area is evolving and gives the history of the old native part of DC---Southeast D. C. We live right near Frederick Douglass house and this area also has a cool Anacostia trail for you to learn about the area along your walk; perfect walking neighborhood. Within less than 10 minutes walking distance,  there's the Anacostia train station (13 min walk), we have Capitol One Cafe where the baristas and banking team are warm and welcoming and know their neighbors (you gotta meet Jonathan the manager and Wes one of the baristas). We have Busboys and Poets, Anacostia Arts Center, Anacostia Park, Kraft Studios, Martha's Table, Turning Natural for a good ol' smoothie and if you love Starbucks, that's just a 6 minute walking from our house. Marion Barry Ave, formerly known as Good Hope Road is home to art events and live music depending on the holiday and time of year---the area is energetic and transient and one we truly love here smile PS we COOLZ with our neighbors too so you will feel even more at home.

Space is available Now
Rent = $1050 (includes all utilities + WiFi)
Deposit = $2100 (first and last month) + $150 Refundable Fee

You are a female who may be in school, possibly travels often and may or may not be permanent in the DMV area. You are someone who may go back home often and so having a flexible living arrangement that meets your needs is most ideal for you!
***This is a sublease and short term housing that benefits those in need for short term arrangements***

Are you someone that prefers to live in community? Maybe you're new to the area and want to get a bit acquainted. Our house is a home to our church and friends (where we gather for events, hangouts, study sessions, prayer, and rehearsals); not everyday nor every week but occasionally. Our home is generally quiet as everyone is either working, serving, studying, out and about or relaxing. This house is occasionally musical and so if you love music and hearing singing than this is the house for you smile

Lastly, we have a doggie. She's a three-year old Siberian Husky. She likes people and she too would love to welcome someone who loves animals---dogs at that, and someone who is flexible and adaptable to living with them---so really, 4 other roommies! smile

If any of this stands out to you or if you know of a sister, please reach out to me (Marquita) and let's chat and connect.

Much Love,
Marquita

I have been living with Christian women in community for four years and am excited to meet you! A few things about the setup: The lease is for one year. The apartment is mostly furnished though the available room is not furnished. We have great, free street parking and can walk to Whole Foods, Trader Joes, some local restaurants including my personal favorite, a Crepe and LavAzza cafe! There is a decent-sized backyard, so feel free to park your bike like I do! It's a beautiful, residential neighborhood within walking distance of the National Cathedral and Georgetown University.

If you are a professional CF who respects boundaries with those she lives with, and at the same time is open to sharing a meal every once in while, please fill out the following survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1pY71-sKtC0l9U8GDfAAC7-f16txLP1GnLTgZ5nK1qmI/edit?sharingaction=ownershiptransfer&ts=627e66df#response=ACYDBNjaM3O_3NtJSuiy_OLiaC06FpCaUhasERhrwt58E-y5xMPUDkvyvLs1QgU3xBVaPeo

  • Laundry facilities available on the ground level

Hello! One of our friends is moving out this month and we are seeking a new roommate to take her place.

About us: 3 Christian women in our 20s and 30s who have very different backgrounds and jobs (government, law, nonprofit). We are friendly, enjoy spending time together, and appreciate a generally clean house.

About the room: Rent is $957/month plus utilities. Typically fits a double bed and a desk (for our fellow work from home girlies), but has been known to fit a queen, too!

About our house: A charming rowhouse on a quiet street in NW DC; 4 bedrooms, 1.5 bath, with shared living room, dining room, and kitchen, as well as a basement for storage. We also have a front garden and a lovely back patio space! We're close to the Shaw-Howard Metro stop (green line) and many bus lines. We have central A/C, a dishwasher, and in-unit washer and dryer. Our landlord loves us, so that's also a plus.

Contact us for more pictures and information. We look forward to meeting you!

Everything in the unit is mine apart from the couch and I will be buying one when my roommate moves out. So only furniture you need is for your room smile

About the building: So friendly and very safe. Lived here for two years and just signed for a third. There's a stunning rooftop with grills and patio seating and a pool I lay out at all summer. Garage parking is available for extra cost ($85-90) but I street park and do fine.

I'm turning 27 and go to Passion City DC. I work half from home half from DC. I like to host so appreciate a clean shared space. I'm very chill, spending most of my weekends having dinners with friends and hiking or doing something outdoors. I'd love a roommate who is gracious when I leave my dishes in the sink and is cool with being friends as you can expect me to frequently ask how you're doing. smile

Optional Parking - 85-90

Application fee - 250

Hello! My name is Tiffany, and I attended Grace Meridian Hill 8 years ago when I was an undergraduate interning in DC. My husband and I are now Houstonians, but we are returning to DC in late July/early August for me to begin a 1-year clerkship (basically, a fellowship for lawyers) on the DC Circuit. We’re looking for a private or semi-private (i.e., basement apartment or similar) apartment close to the yellow, green, or red lines. The closer to Judiciary Square, the better, but we are cognizant that our budget may require us to be more flexible.

Here are some other things to note:

- We are open to furnished or unfurnished options.

- We have two rescue cats ages 2 & 3. They have claws, but we trim them regularly and they do very well around kids and adults.

- We would like to bring our car and would love to find a safe place to keep it at a low cost, as we plan to use it only for weekend trips / special occasions. If you live in a safe area outside town and are interested in renting a space in your garage or driveway, please let me know!

I pay a little over $1850/mo. including utilties, but offering at $1750/mo.  I will give preference to whoever can stay the majority of the time, but open to finding one person from now until June, and another June till end of July

About the House: The townhouse is 3 beds, 2 bath. The first floor houses the kitchen and living room area, and my two roommates live on the second floor. Quincy Park and Central Library are our front yard (literally), and Quincy Park is decked with beach volleyball, tennis, basketball, soccer field, barbecue grills, etc. The area is very safe and is a <5 min walk to VA Square metro, so extremely accessible to both VA and DC. There's free street parking for you and guests. We're also right next to a Giant and at the heart of VA young professional life (right next to Clarendon/Courthouse).

About the Roommates: Our house goes to McLean Bible Church, Capitol Life, and Grace Covenant Church Capitol Hill. We prioritize keeping the space tidy and welcoming to others. Both roommates grew up overseas for missions work but are from North Carolina, and we all went to UNC Chapel Hill and met through our campus ministry.

We're looking for someone who shares similar lifestyle choices (loves God, respects others, self-controlled) and will keep the space clean and tidy (we have weekly cleaning routine).

If you're interested, shoot me an email and we can set up a time to call and see if we're a good fit!
